The Contradictions of Men in Tech: Inclusion, Bias, and Culture
One cannot claim exclusion while actively creating it for others. Men in tech do not need to feel threatened by women's advancement. But they do need to confront the contradiction between claiming exclusion and actively practicing it, and to interrogate the patriarchal assumptions many of them were taught long before they ever opened a laptop. True innovation requires intellectual humility. It requires the courage to debug not only code, but culture.

Sexism, Male chauvinism, and the struggle for Women’s inclusion in African Tech Spaces.
This article argues that despite technology's self-image as a meritocracy, women face systematic marginalisation rooted in cultures of sexism and male chauvinism. It opens by noting that women such as Ada Lovelace, Grace Hopper, and Hedy Lamarr helped found modern computing, establishing that women's exclusion is not a matter of late or lesser entry into the field. The question is not whether exclusion is occurring, since the evidence confirms it, but why it persists.
